Processes & network

What runs on your Mac and why, which port it holds — and where a connection to a host breaks.

Processes

⌘K › Processes. A live list (flat or as a tree), listening ports and Docker containers. For any process, why it runs: its ancestry, what supervises it (launchd, a terminal, ssh, tmux, pm2, cron, docker…), its folder and git branch, ports and warnings; environment variables on demand.

Send signals (TERM, INT, HUP, KILL, STOP / resume), change priority, start, stop, restart or pause containers, copy a report, or open a shell in the process's folder. No root needed.

Network

⌘K › Network. Diagnose a connection layer by layer — DNS, route, TCP, TLS, HTTP or SSH — each with its result, timing and what to try next. Copy all results as text for a colleague or a ticket.
